Launched Carl Zeiss factory building reconstruction works. It is projected to ensure factory building reconstruction and construction of a new building next to it.
Carl Zeiss factory building is a first concrete construction in Latvia. It is intended to conserve the old building constructions and carry out a large-scale reconstruction, transforming it into a multifunctional Class A office building.
During project development there are considered principles of sustainable, long-term construction – both: regarding contiguous territory and each building as well. Solutions are designed to maximize the cost savings in building operation, including underfloor ventilation solution, parking heating with waste air and other engineering solutions to minimize operating costs and at the same time gain flexibility in the office interior planning.
Each building configuration is designed L-shaped to ensure green recreation areas for visitors and staff.
Currently we completed demolition works of the old factory building to denudate conservable constructions.
Developer: LLC “Mukusalas Business Centre”.
Author of the project: architectural company “SIA” OUT OF BOX”.
Below you can see visualizations of the building after completion of the reconstruction works.
